A fatal two-vehicle collision happened in Malibu today on Malibu Canyon Rd. at about 10:10 a.m.
A 48-year-old Simi Valley resident, Lyssa Marie Hand, was southbound on Malibu Canyon Rd., just north of Piuma Rd. Hand was driving a Ford Expedition.
Hand drifted into the northbound lane of oncoming traffic at a turn in the road. Hand's SUV was struck head-on by a Toyota pickup driven by 47-year-old Camarillo resident Keith Imrie.
Hand's Ford spun around and Imrie's Toyota rolled over onto its roof.
Hand was transported to West Hills Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Imrie suffered major injuries, and was transported to UCLA Medical Center.
