A single-vehicle car crash on Malibu Canyon Rd. on Tuesday left three people injured.
The accident happened about 6 p.m. Aviad Bourkis, a 23-year-old resident of Fallsburg, New York, was driving a 2006 Ford Expedition on Malibu Canyon Rd., just north of Piuma Rd. Bourkis lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
Bourkis had five passengers, ages 15 to 22. Three of the vehicle's occupants were injured. Two were transported to Kaiser in Woodland Hills and one was transported to UCLA Medical Center with a possible fracture.
With its treacherous curves, Malibu Canyon Rd. has been the site of many deaths and injuries.
