A two-car accident at Pacific Coast Highway and Carbon Canyon in Malibu Friday resulted in one person being airlifted to a local hospital.
The PCH accident happened at approximately 5:15 p.m. The cause of the car accident remains under investigation. According to Sergeant Johnson of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station, it appears that one of the cars crossed over the center line into oncoming traffic.
The driver of one of the cars was airlifted from Pepperdine University to a local hospital. The extent of the driver's injuries has not been reported.
