A Foothill Transit Silver Streak bus crashed in Monterey Park Tuesday.
The accident happened at about 8:47 p.m. on the connector between the westbound 10 Freeway and the southbound 710 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the bus driver may have fallen asleep. Eight bus passengers were injured and transported to a local hospital.
