A car plunged over the side of Kanan Dume Rd. in Malibu on Saturday.
The accident happened about two miles north of PCH just after 2 p.m.
Three people were in the car. Two of the three were airlifted to a local hospital. Their condition at this time is unknown.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It is unknown if speed or alcohol played a role in the accident.
Malibu's Kanan Dume Rd. is the site many car accidents due to the high speeds which can be attained on the winding roadway.
