A three-car accident on the 405 freeway in West Los Angeles Tuesday night resulted in one death.
According to CHP Officer Patrick Kimball, the crash happened about 8:25 p.m., just north of Santa Monica Blvd. A 56-year-old woman died in the accident. Her name has not been released. No other injuries were reported.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
