A female pedestrian was hit by a car as she was crossing Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
The accident happened about 2:45 pm. near the intersection of Wilshire Blvd. and Robertson Blvd.
Sergeant Don Chase of the Beverly Hills Police Department said that the pedestrian was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in grave condition.
The driver of the car that hit the pedestrian was not cited by officers. According to Sgt. Chase, there were no unusual circumstances.
The victim's name has not been released.
