Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at a car wash in Monrovia on Friday.
The accident, which involved three vehicles, happened about 3:40 p.m. at a self-service car was: Fast5Xpress Car Wash on Huntington Dr. A man driving a Toyota Camry had just finished washing his car and was leaving. He apparently hit the gas instead of the brake, lost control of his car, and hit two parked cars, which then hit a woman and 10-year-old boy.
According to the Monrovia Police Department, the woman suffered an injury to her arm. The 10-year-old boy suffered a head injury. He was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital. His three-year-old sister and 30-year-old mother were also transported to a local hospital.
The man who caused the crash suffered injury to his face and an 8-year-old child in his car reported arm pain.
The driver who caused the accident, Jagdish Rajgor, told police that his brakes failed.
